Daughter of Our Past" was adapted for needlework by Marcia Manning with permission from the artist Jeanne Gamble.

This piece uses black, brown, white, purples, blues and for a finishing touch, buttons on the shawl blanket.

About the artist....
While living for many years in two Southeast Alaska villages, Angoon and Yakutat, artist Jeanne Gamble became intrigued with the Tlingit people. Through her contemporary style she conveys the grace, strength, and pride of this culture.
